Pricing

Simple, Usage-Based Pricing

Pay for what you use. No contracts, no activation fees, no minimum term. Start with a 30-day free trial and $25 in credit.

Three Components. One Simple Bill.

Power-T.38 pricing has three parts: your SIP trunk, your fax numbers, and your usage. That’s it. No setup fees, no activation charges, no minimum term. You start with a 30-day free trial and $25 in credit — enough to put real fax traffic through the network before committing to anything.

Every fax page takes roughly one minute to transmit, so your usage cost is predictable: multiply your expected monthly page volume by the per-minute rate for your traffic type and you’ll have a close estimate of your usage bill.

Power-T.38 Pricing

SIP Trunks
$7/month
per SIP trunk

Most customers need one SIP trunk. Each trunk supports unlimited concurrent calls across all your fax numbers. A second trunk is required only if you need to connect a second SIP device or server.

Fax Numbers (DIDs)
$2/month
per local fax number
$5/month
per toll-free number

At least one fax number per SIP trunk is required. Your first number becomes the billing telephone number (BTN) for the account.

Usage
$0.025/min
outgoing fax (US & Canada)
$0.025/min
incoming to local numbers
$0.050/min
incoming to toll-free numbers

Each fax page takes roughly one minute. Usage is billed in minutes, the same way traditional phone calls are — even though T.38 is a data protocol, not voice.

Volume Discounts

Volume discounts are available for usage above 1,000 minutes per month.

⚑ Darren: Review Required

Specific discount tiers need to be added here. The current pricing page notes that volume discounts apply above 1,000 minutes/month but does not disclose the tiers. I'd suggest one of two approaches — pick whichever aligns with your sales strategy:

Option A — Show the tiers directly: List the discount schedule (e.g., "10,000+ min/month: $X.XXX/min") so high-volume prospects can self-qualify without contacting sales. This removes a friction point and signals pricing confidence.

Option B — Keep as Contact Sales: Leave the current approach — note discounts exist above 1,000 min/month, direct to Contact Sales for details. Appropriate if pricing is customized per customer or if you prefer to qualify volume before disclosing rates.

Please provide the tier structure (for Option A) or confirm Contact Sales as the intent (for Option B). I'll update this section accordingly.

Wholesale & Service Provider Pricing

⚑ Darren: Review Required

The Voice Service Providers page references wholesale pricing, but the current Pricing page is silent on it. Prospects arriving at this page after reading the VSP page will find no information about wholesale rates — which is a gap worth closing.

Three options to consider:

Option A — Add a section here: Include a brief mention of wholesale/service provider pricing with a Contact Sales CTA. This closes the gap without disclosing anything proprietary. Suggested copy: "Service providers and resellers with volume commitments are eligible for wholesale pricing. [Contact Sales] to discuss your account structure."

Option B — Link to the VSP page: Add a crosslink box at the bottom of this page pointing to the Voice Service Providers page. Lower commitment than Option A.

Option C — Omit entirely: Keep wholesale pricing off this page and handle it through the VSP page and direct sales conversations only.

Please indicate your preference and I'll implement accordingly.

A Few Things Worth Knowing

Each fax page is roughly one minute. This makes cost estimation straightforward: multiply your expected monthly page count by your per-minute rate and you’ll have a close estimate of your usage charges before you start.

Usage-based pricing means no bill shock. There is no flat-rate or unlimited plan. Your charges scale directly with your fax activity — if you send more, you pay more; if you send less, you pay less. For operations with predictable volume, this is typically more cost-efficient than a flat-rate plan sized for peak usage.

T.38 transmissions are billed in minutes — not pages, not kilobytes. Even though T.38 is a data protocol, it operates in real time like a phone call. Billing in minutes is the industry standard and makes your costs directly comparable to traditional POTS-line fax.

A second SIP trunk is only needed for a specific reason. If your setup involves two separate SIP devices or servers that need to connect to your T38Fax account simultaneously, you’ll need a second trunk. One trunk handles the vast majority of deployments.

Start with $25. No Commitment.

Every new account starts with a 30-day free trial and $25 in credit — enough to run real fax traffic through the network and confirm everything works with your specific equipment and configuration.

There’s no automatic conversion at the end of the trial. If you want to continue, you activate to a paid plan. If you don’t, the account simply stops. No credit card required to start.

Frequently Asked Questions

A SIP trunk is your connection from T38Fax to your fax equipment — your fax server, ATA gateway, or IP-PBX. One trunk is enough for most customers: it supports unlimited concurrent fax transmissions across all your fax numbers. A second trunk is required only if you need to connect a second SIP device or server to your account.
Your bill has three components: the SIP trunk fee ($7/month per trunk), your fax number fees ($2/month per local number, $5/month per toll-free), and usage charges based on minutes used. Each fax page takes approximately one minute to send or receive. A 10-page fax to a US number uses roughly 10 minutes of outgoing usage, billed at $0.025/minute.
Yes. Volume discounts apply to usage above 1,000 minutes per month. Contact our sales team to discuss discount tiers for your volume.
No. T38Fax uses usage-based pricing — you pay for the minutes you actually use. There is no flat-rate plan. For operations with predictable volume, we recommend estimating your monthly minutes (roughly one minute per fax page) to model your costs before starting a trial. Our sales team is happy to help.
Your account stops working unless you activate it to a paid plan. There is no automatic conversion — you decide if and when to continue. No credit card is required to start, and the $25 trial credit is yours to use during the 30-day period.
T.38 fax transmissions are billed in minutes, the same way traditional phone calls are billed — even though they are data, not voice. Each fax page takes roughly one minute to transmit, so minutes and pages map closely for most operations.
